Risk Management
All personnel will be employees of Trax Transport, with payroll, payroll taxes, workers compensation insurance, vehicle liability, and maintenance covered in our program.
Insurance Coverage:
Backup Staffing
A valuable service benefit to outsourcing your personnel to Trax Transport is our backup staffing to cover sick days, vacations, breakdowns, and absenteeism. Our management trains additional individuals on each account (at no additional cost to the client) that can be dispatched to cover for any backup situation that may arise on a daily basis.
Flex Staffing
With our program, you only pay for hours worked. No PTO or vacation cost. Additionally, when necessary, you can run a reduced crew to maximize cost-effectiveness (ex. reduce staff days before and after holidays with no cost).
Another option is to utilize our staff in multiple departments. We can hire a porter with a truck, the individual porters in the AM on the service drive to make deliveries mid-day for the parts department and end the day back on the drive. This methodology maximizes efficiency of resources and provides support to the necessary department when needed the most.

Hiring and Implementation Program
Hiring
Trax Transport relieves its client’s management of the time-consuming hiring and employee HR aspect of its business operation. We screen, interview, background and drug test (when applicable), map test, and inspect each individual prior to being assigned to any account.
Implementation:
In-house paperwork procedures and route / field training
- In-House Training: Trax Transport will create training materials with the assistance of client’s management that all personnel will be required to learn and understand. Training will consist of reviewing all paperwork related to deliveries and operational procedures
- Route / Field Training (optional for driver positions):
Prior to the start date all drivers will complete “dry run” routes to learn the particulars of each delivery run (i.e., alternative routes due to traffic, where to pull up to each location, hard-to-find locations, and parking situations) to ensure the most efficient and timely deliveries
